Sandy coastal beach area with retrodune vegetation. The water body receives minor influence from the Canale Ausente, which discharges to sea via the 'Macchine Vecchie' pump station.

Location

Sessa Aurunca, Caserta province, Campania region. The monitoring point is located at Viale degli Eucalipti.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2020–2023). No sewage discharge detected. Wastewater from Baia Domizia Nord and Condominio La Rotonda is managed through a lifting station system and conveyed to the treatment plant located in Doccia, Cellole municipality.
