Coastal waters. The bathing area is part of the Zambrone – Ricadi water body, with an extension of 1.5 square kilometres.

Location

Ricadi, Province of Vibo Valentia, Calabria region. The bathing area extends 1.5 kilometres and is situated in front of agricultural territories in the Municipality of Ricadi.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. No specific measures are currently in place for wastewater treatment.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events may occur from agricultural runoff in the surrounding agricultural areas. Cyanobacteria proliferation and macroalgae proliferation have not been recorded in the past four years.
