Vitemölla is a bathing area north of the town of Vitemölla, extending for several kilometers along a white, fine-grained sandy beach. The water's edge is partly gravelly with a few rocks in the water. The beach is located within a nature reserve consisting primarily of dune landscape. The bathing area has a gradual slope into the water with lively currents. It is a very popular swimming destination situated on private land, accessible under traditional right-of-access conditions.
