Vitrenjak is a partially cultivated beach located in Zadar, Croatia. The beach features a pebble surface with concrete structures and is lined with trees. It extends 300 metres in length with a width of 5 metres and has a mild coastal slope. The beach experiences high bather density during the swimming season and is situated along an indented coastline.

Adriatic Sea. Average sea temperature during season: 23.11°C. Salinity ranges from 35 to 38.9 during the season. Prevailing wind: North-East. Tide amplitude: 31 cm. Mild underwater coastal slope (less than 15 degrees).

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Annual assessments conducted with 10 sampling events per year. Four-year rolling assessments completed with 40 sampling events per period through 2023. Assessment classifications recorded as excellent, good, sufficient, or poor.
