Location

The bathing area is located in the municipality of Baška (postal code 739 01, address Baška 420) in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The swimming beach is situated below the Baška camp. Parking and facilities are available at the adjacent camp.

Toilets and showers are available as part of the adjacent Baška camp. A restaurant and refreshment stands are located near the beach. Water sport equipment rental (small boats and paddle boats) and sports facilities are available. No lifeguard or medical personnel are present.

Water Quality

Microbiological water quality is classified as excellent based on intestinal enterococcus and Escherichia coli measurements from 2019–2022. Total phosphorus concentrations regularly exceed permitted limits under Czech Regulation 401/2015. Cyanobacterial blooms occur regularly during summer recreational seasons. The overall monitoring assessment indicates unfavorable water status. Water transparency is persistently poor, typically below 1 meter, with regularly elevated chlorophyll-a concentrations exceeding 30 µg/l.
