Waldbad Wriezen is a woodland bathing lake located 23 km southeast of Eberswalde on the edge of the Oderbruch. It was created by excavating a pit in the valley of the Malzmühlenfließ stream. The lake has a square-shaped surface area of approximately 8,300 m² with an average depth of 1.0 to 1.5 m depending on water levels and a maximum depth of 3.5 m. Water transparency ranges from 1 to 2.5 m during the bathing season. The bathing area includes a non-swimmer zone and angling is not permitted.
