Season

4 July 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00 to 18:00. Originally planned to open on 1 July 2025 but opened on 4 July 2025 due to lack of lifeguards.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Adequate (2025). Maximum permissible concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. In 2025, four water quality assessments rated the water suitable for bathing and one assessment on 9 July 2025 found the water unsuitable due to Escherichia coli levels of 1295 CFU/100 ml, caused by a sewer line rupture on 6 July 2025. Subsequent tests from 16 July onwards showed compliant results. In 2023, cyanobacterial blooms caused multiple unsuitable assessments. In 2018, elevated enterococci levels caused two unsuitable assessments.

Risks

Escherichia coli contamination from sewer infrastructure failure (7 July 2025). Cyanobacterial blooms occurred on multiple dates in 2021 and 2023, causing water to be unsuitable for bathing.
