Zastivanje is a natural pebble beach located in Postira on the island of Brač, Croatia. The beach measures 80 metres in length and 6 metres in width, with a mild coastal slope suitable for swimming. The area features low vegetation including grass and bushes, and the beach surface is predominantly pebble with some concrete structures. Average sea temperature during the season reaches 23.9°C, with salinity ranging from 36.3 to 39.6.

Adriatic Sea coastal beach. Beach length 80 metres, width 6 metres. Mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees) with mild underwater slope. Tide amplitude 26.3 centimetres. Average sea temperature 23.9°C. Salinity range 36.3–39.6. Indented coastline with prevailing north wind.

Location

Postira, Brač island, Croatia. The beach is accessible by asphalt road. No parking is available at the beach.

Facilities

Changing room, bench, parking area, trashcan. Boat docking available more than 100 metres from the beach. No sea-side protection structures.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with 10 samples annually since 2010. Average sea temperature during season 23.9°C indicates summer bathing season.

Water Quality

Water quality is assessed as excellent according to Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual sampling conducted since 2009 with 9–10 samples per year. Assessment periods show consistent monitoring over multiple years.
