Žitna sits in a sheltered bay on Korčula, reached via a short walk down a stairway from the road. The shoreline consists of fine pebbles that transition into sand and stone at the water's edge, with a shallow, gradual slope into the sea. It is a public beach with no sunbed or umbrella rentals, no cafes or restaurants, and limited nearby parking.
