Żółtańce is a bathing area located on a small retention reservoir in the village of Żółtańce in the Chełm district of Lublin Voivodeship, Poland. The reservoir covers 46.90 hectares of water surface with a total capacity of 970,000 cubic metres and an average depth of 2.08 metres. The bathing area is situated on the Uherka River, a left-bank tributary of the Bug River.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, pier/jetty, mooring for water equipment, designated barbecue/fire areas, waste bins, toilet, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard, children's play area on beach, no domestic animals allowed, bathing regulations available for inspection, information board.

Season

27 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent (jakość doskonała) for 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. All monitoring results consistently show water suitable for bathing (woda przydatna do kąpieli). Maximum permitted concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml; Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Last measurement on 27 August 2025.
