Zona Pervinca is a sandy bathing beach located in Savona, Liguria, in northern Italy. The beach is classified as a coastal water body with low stability characteristics in a mountainous relief area. Coastal water body (CWA3 category with low stability in a mountainous relief area). Area extends 1.32 square kilometers. Located in a plain geographical zone with drainage from watersheds T.Quiliano, Rio delle Quattro Stagioni, and Rio Molinero.

Private beach establishments with services are present in the area. A campground is located on the beach toward the west. Emergency services available: Police (tel. 019811818), Coast Guard (tel. 019856666), and emergency services (tel. 118, 115).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2008–2011). Identified pollution sources include the Savona municipal wastewater treatment plant, river mouths, and the port. Monitoring approaches for short-duration pollution events and anomalous situations are under development.

Risks

The Ligurian Sea is not characterized by cyanobacterial blooms due to its predominantly oligotrophic conditions. No cases of potentially toxic algal strain proliferation have been recorded in the past 4 years.
