This bathing water is located at the mouth of the Torrente Buonanotte in the southern part of Vasto's coastline, within the Marina di Vasto Nature Reserve established in 2007. The beach is sandy with natural dune systems and is approximately 50 meters wide. The area receives around 500 daily swimmers during the bathing season and supports various water sports activities including canoeing, windsurfing, and skating.

Vasto, Abruzzo region, Italy. The bathing point is situated in the southern part of Vasto's coastline at the mouth of the Torrente Buonanotte. The area is near reception facilities including hotels and camping sites, with a cycle path available.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is GOOD. No discharges of wastewater are present in the area. Wastewater from reception structures and nearby residences is conveyed via a sewage collector through lifting pumps to a treatment plant located in Montenero di Bisaccia, approximately 10 kilometers away. No cyanobacteria blooms or toxic algal events have been recorded in the Abruzzo marine waters. Sparse algal blooms occur in summer months with occasional dinoflagellate occurrences but absent or minimal toxic species presence.
