A sandy bathing beach located 100 meters north of Fosso Pretaro in Pescara, Abruzzo. The beach has sand comprising over 99% of its composition with medium grain size and no sand dunes. The beach is approximately 70 meters wide and is classified as excellent water quality. The surrounding area is occupied by urban settlements, and the beach includes various bathing establishments, some equipped with swimming pools.

Water quality classification is Excellent. No treated wastewater discharge or storm overflow discharge systems are present in the coastal area. Potential pollution sources include the Pescara River, Fosso Vallelunga, and Fosso Pretaro which demarcates the southern boundary of the city. Wastewater from Pescara is conveyed through a mixed sewerage system and a lifting station to the purification plant on via Raiale, managed by the A.T.O.
