The area is situated in front of agricultural territories east of Scilla town centre.

Coastal water body. The submarine sediments have a granulometry ranging from 0.18 to 2 millimetres. The area extends 1.424 square kilometres. The water body is part of the Bagnara - Villa San Giovanni water system.

Scilla, Calabria, Italy. The bathing area is located east of Scilla town centre, in front of agricultural territories.

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing water is monitored by the Calabria Region, the Municipality, ASP, and Arpacal. The Vallone Condoleo estuary has been identified as a potential source of short-term pollution events through runoff from agricultural areas.

Risks

Short-term pollution events may occur through runoff from adjacent agricultural areas at the Vallone Condoleo estuary. No anomalous situations or algal proliferation events have been recorded in the preceding four years.
