Water Quality

Water quality classification: Poor. No specific active measures are currently in place for wastewater treatment.

Risks

Short-duration pollution events from runoff from agricultural areas have been identified. Cyanobacterial proliferation has not occurred in the past four years. Macroalgal and phytoplankton proliferation has not been observed.
