The bathing area is located at the mouth of Torrente Roccella in the Palermo province of Sicily. The zone is situated close to numerous residential structures whose usage increases during the summer season. The beach continues along the seabed with sparse vegetation.

Risks

No cyanobacterial blooms have been reported despite proximity to seasonally high anthropogenic activity. No events of macroalgae, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation have been reported.
