West Torr. Roccella is a coastal bathing water area located in Campofelice di Roccella, Sicily. The beach continues along the seafloor with sparse vegetation. Campofelice di Roccella, Palermo Province, Sicily. Coordinates: 37.9994–13.8832 (monitoring point). Accessibility was used as a criterion for site selection.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Sufficient (2019–2024). No bathing prohibitions are in place. No short-term pollution events have been reported. No anomalous events have been recorded in the past 8 years.

Risks

Cyanobacterial proliferation has not been reported despite the area's proximity to zones with high seasonal anthropogenic activity. Macroalgae and phytoplankton proliferation have not been reported.
