Location

Campofelice di Roccella, Sicily, in the Province of Palermo. The bathing area extends 1,000 metres, with coordinates spanning from 37.9939–13.8697 to 37.9978–13.8797. The monitoring station point is at 37.9964–13.8762.

Water Quality

Classification: Good (2019–2024). No bathing bans are in place. No short-duration pollution events have been reported. No anomalous events have been documented in the past 8 years.

Risks

Although the area is near zones with significant seasonal anthropogenic activity, no cyanobacterial proliferation events have been reported. No macroalgae, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation events have been documented.
