A bathing water area located 250 metres downstream of the Castel Secco ditch mouth on the left bank. The beach comprises predominantly pebbles. The area includes equipped zones and is situated in a territorial context with urbanized areas of significant extension and adjacent watercourse outlets.

Location

Santa Marinella, province of Rome, Lazio region. The bathing water extends along the coast between the Mignone River and Rio Fiume.

Facilities

Equipped beach areas are not present.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: elevated. This classification is based on the 95th and 90th percentile values for monitored parameters. Mollusk farming activity is present in the area. Specific monitoring for pollutant concentration is not currently active.

Risks

The area is subject to occasional blooms of macroalgae or potentially toxic microalgae. Pollution sources include nearby urban areas with significant extension and adjacent ditches and watercourses.
