A bathing area located 250 metres to the left of the Fosso del Diavolo stream mouth in Lake Bracciano. The beach is sandy with equipped areas nearby. The surrounding area includes urbanised zones of significant extent and nearby watercourse outlets.

Location

Bracciano, Rome Province, Lazio Region. The bathing area extends 252 metres along the shoreline at an altitude of 165 metres above sea level.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is elevated based on 95th and 90th percentile measurements. No active specific monitoring programmes are currently in place to measure pollutant concentrations during the bathing season. Mollusk cultivation is identified as a pollution source.

Risks

Proximity to mouths of streams and fosses. Nearby urbanised areas with significant extension. Short-duration pollution events are still being studied through appropriate modelling approaches.
