A pebble beach located 300 metres south of the Sangro River mouth. The surrounding area includes private residences, tourist facilities, and recreational activities, particularly during summer. The beach is served by the coastal road Viale Costa Verde.

Facilities

Tourist information point, camping, recreational area (Rotonda Ivan Graziani), municipal volleyball field, free and paid parking, restaurants and bars. Animal access permitted in accordance with annual beach regulations issued by the Abruzzo Region.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Wastewater treatment: A treatment plant on the right bank near the river mouth receives wastewater from the Marina settlement, with treated effluent discharged into the Sangro River. Plans exist to decommission this plant and redirect effluent to the Fossacesia facility.

Risks

River mouth identified as a source of short-duration pollution. Marine waters in the Abruzzo area have shown sparse algal blooms during summer months with some past dinoflagellate blooms of minimal or absent toxicity. No anomalous events have been recorded.
