Adriatic Sea coastal water. Beach length 200 metres, beach width 20 metres. Mild coastal slope (less than 15 degrees), moderate underwater coastal slope (15 to 25 degrees). Tide amplitude 49.1 centimetres. Average sea temperature during season 24.03°C. Salinity range 34.5–39.5 practical salinity units.

Location

Located in Rovinj, Croatia at Monsena. The beach is accessible via asphalt road. Free parking is available.

Season

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and multi-year evaluations. Ten samples collected annually.

Water Quality

Water quality assessment results available for annual and multi-year periods from 2009 onwards under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC. Annual sampling conducted with 10 samples per year. Final assessment periods based on 40 samples (4-year rolling averages).
