Water Quality

Water quality has consistently met limit values in recent years. All bacteriological samples from the 2025 bathing season (28 April to 1 September) were classified as not objectionable. Enterococcus levels ranged from <10 to 122 MPN/100ml. Escherichia coli levels ranged from <10 to 122 MPN/100ml. Water temperatures ranged from 15°C to 22°C during the monitoring period. Short-term water quality impacts from extreme heavy rainfall events cannot be excluded.

Risks

Feeding of waterfowl should be avoided to prevent faecal contamination.
