Apelviken 1 is a large bathing beach in the southern part of Varberg city, capable of accommodating over 300 swimmers. The beach consists of approximately 1 km of sand with dunes behind it, a large grassy area to the west that ends with cliffs, and is situated in a bay. It is a popular location for windsurfing and kitesurfing.
