June 1 to September 30, 2024.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is based on two microbiological parameters: Escherichia coli (threshold 1000/100 ml) and intestinal enterococci (threshold 370/100 ml). Good quality is defined as levels below these thresholds. Monitoring occurs weekly from June 1 to September 30, plus a pre-season sampling between May 10-20. Results are interpreted within 36 hours minimum. Pollution sources include sewerage networks, stormwater systems, and natural watercourse inputs.

Risks

Risk of pathogenic germs from swimmers, sewerage and stormwater networks, watercourse inputs, marine pollution including hydrocarbons, and algae proliferation (Ostreopsis ovata). Surveillance includes visual inspection of water and daily collection of floating macro-debris.
