Badesee Fredenbeck is an inland lake with no connection to other water bodies. Water supply comes exclusively from rainfall. Nutrient input occurs through occasional waterfowl and bathers. No cyanobacterial blooms have been detected in recent years, and no closures due to poor bathing water quality have been necessary.
