Badesee Grotegaste is an inland lake bathing site enclosed halfway by a comfortable campground with park-like character. The bathing zone is separated from the rest of the lake by a rope. The lake offers opportunities for surfing and paddling, and fishing is permitted with prior arrangement with the campground management. A 175-meter bathing beach features various play equipment for children, and a large paddling area for small children is provided on the spacious lawn area.
