Badesee Kirchberg is an artificial lake with a surface area of approximately 1.4 hectares and a maximum water depth of 4.4 metres. It is fed by a tributary stream and can be drained at its deepest point. The lake has been subject to sampling investigations since 1995, which have revealed partially elevated nutrient loads. The water quality has been classified as excellent in recent years based on microbiological monitoring.
