Badesee Niedernhausen is a small natural swimming pond located on the northern edge of the Odenwald forest below Lichtenberg Castle in Fischbachtal-Niedernhausen. Originally constructed in 1934 as the open-air bath 'Odenwaldidyll', it is fed by a small stream and covers only 0.2 hectares. The water is drained in winter and receives no chemical treatment. The pond is situated on a campground but remains publicly accessible.
