Bajnice is a partially cultivated pebble beach located in Dugi Rat near Omiš on the Croatian coast. The beach stretches 380 metres in length with an average width of 5 metres and features a moderate coastal slope. Tree vegetation is present. Average sea temperature during the season reaches 22.78°C, with salinity ranging from 23.2 to 39.2. The beach experiences high bather density during the season and prevailing northerly winds.

Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and four-year rolling assessment periods.

Water Quality

Water quality classification assessed as excellent under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Annual sampling conducted with 10 samples per year. Four-year assessment periods with 40 samples each. Monitoring conducted continuously from 2009 to 2025.
