Beach Volley is a pebble beach located on the northwestern shore of Lake Como in San Siro, Lombardia. The beach is approximately 70 metres wide and partially modified. Water quality at this bathing site has been classified as excellent based on monitoring data from 2019–2022. The beach provides facilities including a bar, benches, and picnic tables.

Location

San Siro, Como province, Lombardia, on the northwestern shore of Lake Como. The beach is approximately 70 metres wide. The competent authority is the Municipality of San Siro (tel. 034450015).

Facilities

Bar, benches, picnic tables. Beach volley court and boat mooring pontile also available in the area.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent for the reference period 2019–2022. No anthropogenic activities known to promote eutrophication or cyanobacterial growth. No threshold exceedances recorded. No toxic effects on swimmers or lake users reported. No macroalgal, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation events recorded in the past four years.

Risks

Possible short-duration pollution events from terrain runoff, water stagnation, and accidental or unauthorised discharges of liquids or debris. Unfavourable meteorological conditions may contribute to pollution.
