Spiaggia di Oro is a bathing beach located on Lake Como in the municipality of Bellano, Lombardy. The beach has been classified as good quality based on monitoring results from 2013 to 2016. It features a small parking area and permits access to animals. The beach is subject to occasional short-duration pollution events from adjacent runoff and a tributary stream outlet.

Classification: Good (2013–2016). Escherichia coli: 95th percentile 883.8, 90th percentile 411.6. Intestinal enterococci: 95th percentile 212.7, 90th percentile 111.7.

Risks

Possible runoff from adjacent areas and discharge from an adjacent tributary stream. Cyanobacterial proliferation pressures from treatment plant loads and storm overflow discharges. Dolichospermum lemmermannii recorded on 31 July 2013 (109 cells/litre).
