Ribera, province of Agrigento, Sicily. The beach is located along the Strait of Sicily (Canale di Sicilia), coastal section number 14. The municipality of Ribera is at postal code 92016 (AG), with the municipal office at Corso Umberto I° 30.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The area is part of the Magazzolo hydrographic basin. The drainage area is uncultivated with Mediterranean scrub vegetation, intensive woodland, and natural zones. Sewage treatment: no collection network exists; treatment plants do not conform to European Directive 91/271/CE standards.
