Camping costa verde is a bathing water area located in Montenero di Bisaccia in the Molise region. The beach features medium to fine-grained sand that is loose or compacted, along with gravel and pebbles of varying sizes ranging from rounded to sub-rounded. Dunes are present in the area. The beach is moderately wide, approximately 70–80 metres across, and extends over 1350 metres in total length.

Part of the Trigno River hydrographic basin. The bathing area extends 1350 metres along the coast.

Location

Montenero di Bisaccia, Campobasso Province, Molise Region, at the regional border with Abruzzo. The area is home to two tourist accommodation facilities: Agriturismo Il Quadrifoglio (Tel. 0875960190/91) and Agriturismo La Quercia (Tel. 0875960002/3478624108).

Water Quality

Wastewater treatment for the main town is conducted by a municipal treatment plant located in Contrada Canniviere, serving approximately 12,000 population equivalents. The plant includes primary treatment (automatic screening, lifting, sand removal, and oil separation), primary sedimentation, secondary treatment (biological oxidation and sedimentation), tertiary treatment (final disinfection using sodium hypochlorite), and sludge processing (aerobic digestion and drying or mechanical removal). Wastewater from Montenero marina is treated by a consortium treatment plant managed by C.O.N.I.V., with conveyance through three pumping stations.
