Canaletto Pontone is a sandy beach bathing area located in the Lesina Lagoon, a transitional water body in Puglia. The bathing area extends 0.311 km and is classified as having excellent water quality based on monitoring data from 2017-2020. Transitional water body (lagoon). The bathing area extends 0.311 km. It is part of the Laguna di Lesina, bounded by the western shore and extends to the locality La Punta.

Location

The bathing area is located in Lesina, in the province of Foggia, Puglia. It is situated at the mouth of Canale Pontone on the western shore of the Laguna di Lesina.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). The Canale Pontone mouth at the southern boundary represents a potential point source of pollution. No direct wastewater discharge to sea is present.
