Water Quality

Water quality classification is elevated. Two urban treatment plants with capacity over 2000 population equivalents are active in the reference municipality. No specific monitoring of pollutant concentrations is currently active during the bathing season. Mollusk farming has been identified as a source of pollution impact.

Risks

No anomalous situations have been recorded. Cyanobacterial proliferation potential and macroalgal or phytoplankton proliferation have not been documented in the preceding four years.
