Sperlonga, Latina Province, Lazio Region, Italy. The bathing area extends from Porto San Felice Circeo to Punta Stendardo.

Sandy beach with equipped areas and beach facilities available.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is elevated. The bathing water is category C. One urban wastewater treatment plant serving over 2,000 inhabitants is operational in the municipality. Specific monitoring of pollutant concentrations is not currently active during the bathing season.

Risks

Mollusk aquaculture is present as a pollution source. Short-duration pollution events are under study with an appropriate modelling approach still being developed.
