Castrocucco is a sandy beach located in the Policastro Gulf in the Maratea area of Basilicata. It is the largest beach on the Maratea coast and is frequented by swimmers. The surrounding area has minimal significant structures and few urban settlements, creating a relatively undeveloped coastal environment.

Maratea, province of Potenza, Basilicata region. The bathing area is located south of the Pamafi canal in the Policastro Gulf sector, at coordinates 39.929872 -15.752375. The bathing zone extends from coordinates 39.931818 -15.751655 to 39.928298 -15.753448.

1 May to 30 September. Official monitoring period runs from 1 April to 30 September with monthly sampling frequency.
