Consolação is a long sandy beach with clear sand, surrounded by dunes on the north side. It is known for good surfing conditions and is frequently used for water sports activities.

Season

12 June to 12 September 2021. Sampling frequency is triweekly.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2020 was good. No significant microbiological pollution sources have been identified in the area. Zero days of bathing prohibition or advisement due to short-term pollution events were recorded during the 2020 bathing season.

Risks

No history of short-term pollution events. Cyanobacteria, macroalgae, and phytoplankton proliferation are all considered unlikely. Warning signs will be posted if users are considered at risk.
