Coulouarn Beach is a bathing area located in the commune of Saint-Pabu. The beach profile was established in February 2023 following the requirements of European Directive 2006/7/CE, which mandates the identification of pollution sources and establishment of management measures to protect water quality and public health.

Saint-Pabu commune. The mairie of Saint-Pabu is located at 49, rue du Bourg, 29 830 Saint-Pabu.

Facilities

An information display panel is present at the beach access point. Parking areas are designated with restrictions on prolonged camping-car parking.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified according to Directive 2006/7/CE criteria using two bacteriological parameters: intestinal enterococci and Escherichia coli. The beach has been subject to monitoring with results tracked from 2014 to 2022. The 2022 ARS sampling results are documented in the profile.

Risks

The Ribl stream outlet is identified as a pollution source. Animal access is prohibited at the beach.
