Crveni otok - Ispod vanjskih bazena is a partially cultivated beach located on Red Island in Rovinj, Croatia. The beach features a rocky surface with pebbles and is bordered by low vegetation. It has a moderate coastal slope and a strait coastline shape with a length of 90 metres and width of 20 metres. The beach is accessed by pedestrian path and operates as a hotel beach managed by Maistra d.d. Rovinj.

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 to 2025 with samples collected throughout the season.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 under both Croatian regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ, with 10 samples per year. Final assessments are conducted over four-year periods with 40 samples per period. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
