The Orellana Reservoir bathing zone is located in Casas de Don Pedro, Badajoz province, Extremadura, Spain. Artificial lake (Orellana Reservoir) on the Guadiana River. Surface area: 5,084 hectares. Total capacity: 808 cubic hectometres. Useful capacity: 478 cubic hectometres. Length: 25 kilometres. The reservoir bed consists of medium gravel in the access zone and rip-rap in other areas. The surrounding terrain is composed of Precambrian metamorphic materials, mainly slate.

Casas de Don Pedro, Badajoz province, Extremadura. The bathing zone is located approximately 4 kilometres southeast of the town of Casas de Don Pedro, near the Ermita de San Cristóbal. Access is via the BA-137 road towards Talarrubias; after approximately 4 kilometres, turn left onto a track to reach the bathing zone. Parking is available.
