Woippy Pond is an artificial bathing lake created in 2011 by connecting three former sand quarries in the Moselle alluvial plain near Woippy, Moselle, France. The pond covers approximately 6 hectares and features two islands formed by the berges separating the former quarries. It serves as an aquatic leisure and swimming area in an urban and industrial context, with nearby residential areas and automotive repair facilities. The pond is fed by rainfall, the Woippy stream (when intake is open), stormwater from the Berlange industrial zone, and the alluvial water table.
