The Étang de la Mutche is an artificial pond located in the territories of Morhange and Harprich in Moselle, France. Originally created in the Middle Ages for fish farming, it now serves dual purposes as a tourism destination with camping and bathing facilities, and as a protected natural area classified as a ZNIEFF for its bird fauna. The pond covers approximately 75 hectares at an altitude of 250 meters with a maximum depth of 2.5 meters. It is fed by the Betz stream from the south and drained by the same stream to the north, with a water renewal time of approximately 6 weeks.
