Falésia Açoteias is a coastal bathing water located on a non-urban beach with intensive use in Albufeira. The beach features golden sand with an extension of 250 metres and is backed by high soft cliffs composed of clay and sand that are deeply grooved and eroded. The tidal range is 3.4 metres with mean wave height of 0.5 metres and predominant wind direction from the east-southeast.
