Maria Luísa is a coastal bathing water located on a non-urban beach with intensive use in the municipality of Albufeira. The beach features wide golden sand measuring 290 meters in length, with cliffs that are grooved by rainwater and hollowed by wave action. A temporary watercourse serves as a pedestrian pathway to access the beach. The tidal range is 3.4 meters with mean wave height of 0.5 meters, and winds predominantly come from the east-southeast.
