Location

Lesina, Province of Foggia, Puglia region, Italy. Located 100 meters to the right of the Caniglia River mouth.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2017–2020). No direct wastewater discharges to the sea are present. Canal outlets identified as potential point pollution sources but do not significantly impact bathing water quality. No short-duration pollution events recorded in the last four years.

Risks

Potential point pollution sources from canal outlets. No harmful algal blooms or toxic algal species detected. No anomalous situations verified.
