Water quality classification: elevated. The area is located in the Fondi-Itri hydrographic basin. Two active urban wastewater treatment plants serving over 2000 population equivalents operate in the reference municipality. Risks

Mollusk aquaculture is identified as a pollution source. Nearby ditches and streams are present. Short-duration pollution events are still under study for appropriate modelling approaches. No anomalous situations have been recorded.
