Location

Terracina, Latina Province, Lazio Region, Italy. The bathing area extends from Porto San Felice Circeo to Punta Stendardo. The area is 411 metres in extension.

Profile created in March 2011 with update and review planned for 2012.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: elevated (95th and 90th percentile assessment). Mollusk cultivation activities are present in the area.

Risks

Specific monitoring of pollutant concentration and diffusion is not currently active during the bathing season. Short-duration pollution events are under study for adequate modeling approach. No anomalous situations have been verified.
