Letojanni, province of Messina, Sicily. Located in the region between Capo Scaletta and Torre Archirafi. Coordinates: latitude 37.900672° N, longitude 15.330985° E.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. Bathing prohibited from 100 metres south to 100 metres north of the discharge point of the San Filippo stream, which corresponds to the outlet of the Consortium Wastewater Treatment Plant serving the municipalities of Taormina, Giardini-Naxos, and Castelmola. No cyanobacteria proliferation events have been reported. No cases of potentially harmful algal blooms have been reported.
